NahjulBalaghah

Sayed Sharif Razi (970-1015 CE) was a prominent Islamic scholar and the original compiler of NahjulBalaghah. Born in Baghdad, he was a descendant of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS) and served as the chief judge of Baghdad. His compilation of NahjulBalaghah, completed in the 10th century, remains one of the most important collections of Imam Ali's (AS) sermons, letters, and sayings. The work is considered a masterpiece of Arabic literature and Islamic scholarship, preserving the eloquence and wisdom of Imam Ali (AS) for future generations.

Sayed Ali Reza was a distinguished translator and former secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan. His translation 'NahjulBalaghah = Peak of Eloquence' was first published in 1984 by Tahrike Tarsile Quran in New York and is considered one of the most authoritative English translations. The translation has been widely used in Islamic centers and universities worldwide, making the wisdom of Imam Ali (AS) accessible to English-speaking audiences. His work is praised for its accuracy and faithfulness to the original Arabic text.

Sayed Jafar Shahidi (1919-2008) was a prominent Iranian scholar, historian, and professor at Tehran University. He was the founder of the International Center for Persian Language Teaching and served as the director of the Dehkhoda Dictionary Institute. His translation of NahjulBalaghah is highly regarded for its scholarly accuracy and literary excellence. Shahidi was also a prolific author and researcher, contributing significantly to Persian literature and Islamic studies. His translation has become a standard reference for Persian-speaking readers seeking to understand the teachings of Imam Ali (AS).
